Paper-like film
cut for any pen screen — every model, every size
Tablets, pen displays, touchscreen laptops and even classroom teaching touchscreens — paper-like film gives the screen a paper-like resistance, so lines are easier to control, and it cuts glare at the same time. We cut it to your real screen size, so there’s no need to wait for your model to be listed.

Which screens does it work on?
If you write or draw on it with a pen, we can cut paper-like film for it — small screens to big ones.
What MAXIMUM paper-like film does
Made for people who write and draw on a screen with a pen every day
Turns your screen into a paper-like surface
The surface has a fine texture like drawing paper, so the pen meets slight resistance instead of skating across the screen like on glass.
Easier line control, steadier handwriting
Taking notes, writing on a board or inking drawings, the pen tip stops where you mean it to. Writing feels more natural than on the bare screen.
For learning, teaching, meetings and drawing
Students taking lecture notes, teachers writing on classroom screens, teams writing on meeting displays, and artists who use a pen every day.
Matte surface with built-in anti-glare
Ceiling lights and window light don’t bounce back into your eyes as sharp reflections, people at the back of the room can see the screen more easily, and fingerprints are harder to see than on the bare screen.
Paper-like film specifications
Product code MPL-001
The film’s 3-layer structure
The top layer is a matte hard coat (AG hard-coat) that gives a paper-like resistance when you write. The middle is a clear PET sheet that takes scratches instead of your screen. The bottom is a silicone resin layer that lets air escape so bubbles push out easily during application. It ships with a front protective sheet and a back liner, which you peel off when applying.

Who is paper-like film for?
A great fit if you…
- You take notes or write on screen with a pen every day
- You’re a teacher or presenter who writes on an interactive display
- You draw, ink or do graphic work on a pen display or tablet
- You find the bare screen too slippery and your handwriting hard to control
- You use the screen under ceiling lights or near a window and are bothered by reflections
Maybe not the one for you if you…
- You mainly watch films, edit photos or do colour work — the image will look softer than the bare screen
- You rarely use a pen and only use your fingers (matte film is a better fit)
- You don’t want to change stylus tips often — the paper texture wears tips faster than a bare screen

Paper-like film FAQ
Which screens can it be used on?
Any screen you use with a pen, any model, any size — tablets of every brand, pen displays, touchscreen laptops and interactive displays in classrooms or meeting rooms. We cut to the real screen size; just send your device model or screen size on LINE @maximumshop.
Can you do large teaching touchscreens?
Yes — we cut to the real screen size, just as for small screens. Measure the screen area, width × length in centimetres, and send it on LINE. For extra-large screens our staff will quote each job individually, and on-site installation is available.
How is paper-like film different from matte film?
They’re made for different purposes. Matte film cuts glare and fingerprints while staying smooth for everyday use. Paper-like film has a grippier surface so writing with a pen feels like writing on paper. If you don’t mainly use a pen, matte film is the better choice.
Will the pen and touchscreen still work normally?
The film on the screen is only 0.15 mm thick, so pen and touch respond normally. It feels slightly grippier than the bare screen when you drag a finger. If you want to be sure with your device, request a sample to try first.
Will the image look blurry?
It looks softer than the bare screen or clear film because the surface is matte, with 75% light transmission. Reading, writing and drawing are fine, but if you mainly watch films or edit photos and need accurate colour, we recommend clear film.
Will my stylus tip wear out faster?
Yes, faster than on a bare screen, because the surface has paper-like resistance — which is exactly what gives you good line control. If you write every day, keep a spare tip handy.
How do I measure my screen correctly?
Measure the full screen, from the far left edge to the far right and from the very top to the very bottom, in centimetres. The film is cut about 1 mm in from the edge on all 4 sides so the edges don’t lift or trap air bubbles.
Can I replace the film when the surface wears or gets scratched?
Yes — peel off the old sheet and apply a new one. You can’t apply it over an old film, though; remove the old one first.
