Clear film FAQ
Does clear film change how the image looks?
Hardly at all. Ultra Clear film transmits up to 98% of light, the highest in our range, so colors and sharpness stay very close to the bare screen. Matte film, by contrast, gives up a little sharpness in exchange for less glare.
Clear film or matte film: which should I choose?
Start with the problem you want to solve. If lights or sunlight reflecting off the screen are the problem, choose matte film. If you want scratch protection without changing the image, choose clear film. Matte is the most popular choice among our customers, but clear film is better for work that needs accurate color.
What does 4H hardness mean?
It’s a surface hardness rating measured with a standard pencil test. 4H resists everyday scratches one step better than our 3H matte film, but it won’t stop a sharp blade.
My screen isn’t in your product list. What do I do?
Your model doesn’t need to be in our system. We cut film to the size you measure, for any brand. Measure the screen area to be covered, width × length in centimeters, and send it on LINE, or use the price calculator on our website.
How do I measure my screen correctly?
Measure the full screen, from the far left edge to the far right and from the very top to the very bottom, in centimeters. The film is cut about 1 mm in from the edge on all 4 sides so the edges don’t lift or trap air bubbles.
Does it leave sticky residue when peeled off?
No. MAXIMUM PET film holds by static cling with no glue, so it peels off cleanly. You can’t apply it over an old film, though; remove the old one first.
What’s the minimum order? Do you offer installation?
The minimum order is 1 piece. We offer on-site installation in Bangkok and Nonthaburi, with a minimum order value for this service. For other provinces, our staff will assess and quote based on distance. In every case, we confirm the exact cost before going ahead.
