What if I only need one piece?
To be straight with you — for a single piece or screens that are all different, PET film is the better choice.
Choose glass when
- You’re ordering large quantities of one design, 1,000 pieces or more
- You need the feel and hardness of the original screen
- You’re making a product to sell under your own brand
PET film is better when
- You only need 1–100 pieces, or every screen is a different size
- You need it within a few days and can’t wait for a production run
- The screen is curved or has rounded edges — use TPU film instead

How to start an OEM tempered glass order
Send us 3 things and we’ll assess whether it can be produced and how long it will take
- Photos of the screen or device so we can check the shape, camera and speaker positions, and curved edges
- The screen size to be covered, width × height in millimetres
- The quantity you need per design (minimum 1,000 pieces)
Tempered glass FAQ
Can I order just one piece of tempered glass?
No. Glass needs a mould for each design, so the minimum order is 1,000 pieces per design. For small quantities, or screens that are all different sizes, use PET film cut to the real size instead — minimum order 1 piece.
What does 9H mean?
It’s a surface hardness rating measured with the pencil hardness method — the higher the number, the better it resists scratching by hard objects. Tempered glass is 9H; PET film is around 3–4H.
How long does production take?
About 14–30 days from design approval, depending on the complexity of the shape and the quantity.
Can you make glass for unusually shaped screens?
It depends on the case. Send us product photos first and we’ll check whether that shape can be produced in glass. If it can’t, we’ll tell you straight and suggest a more suitable film instead.
