The clear viewing zone is about 30 degrees left and right of centre. Beyond that the image darkens quickly, so people sitting beside you or walking behind you find it hard to read your screen.

Privacy film is made up to 35 inches
Privacy film differs from other films in having a view-control layer inside it, so there’s a maximum size we can produce. Today we can cut up to 35 inches, which covers almost every notebook and monitor size in real use.
For screens larger than 35 inches the calculator won’t show a price yet — message us on LINE and our staff will assess and quote it individually.

Privacy film FAQ
Privacy film, privacy filter, privacy screen protector — are they the same thing?
Yes. The formal name is privacy filter, but people call it many things — privacy film, privacy screen, anti-spy film. They all mean this type of film, so order using whichever name you like; we’ll know what you mean.
Does it mean the person next to me can’t see anything at all?
Not quite. Our privacy film uses a 60-degree privacy filter: the screen is clear within about 30 degrees left and right of centre, and beyond that it darkens until it’s hard to read — the steeper the angle, the harder it is to see. But someone standing directly behind you, or leaning in at the same angle as you, can still see it. In real use it reduces side viewing — on the train, in cafés, or at a desk with people walking past.
Will privacy film make my screen darker?
A little. Light transmission is about 85%, compared with about 92–94% for clear film. Most people just turn the screen brightness up slightly and use it normally. This is natural for every brand of privacy film, not a defect in the sheet.
Can you make privacy film for 24-inch and 27-inch monitors?

Do you have privacy film for 14-inch laptops?

Do you have privacy tempered glass?
MAXIMUM privacy film is PET, not glass. The advantages: it’s thinner, can be cut freely to any screen size, uses static-cling application with no glue, and peels off without residue. Privacy tempered glass on the market is usually made mainly for popular phone models, not cut to fit monitors or laptops.
Why does privacy film cost several times more than clear film?
Because the light-directing structure is built into the film itself. The material costs much more than clear or matte film, and there’s more waste when cutting, so the price gap is clear — especially for large screens.
How do I measure my screen correctly?
Measure the full screen, from the far left edge to the far right and from the very top to the very bottom, in centimetres. The film is cut about 1 mm in from the edge on all 4 sides so the edges don’t lift or trap air bubbles.
What’s the minimum order? Do you offer installation?
